no, cant load any sounds..get error msg saying preset doesnt belong to this module...

man, i gotta play with them synth programs, just so damn busy...

do you need to have a keyboard/midi controller(in my case a guitar synth), or can ya just use the puter keyboard?

cuz man...i find synthedit modules or whatever they're called all the time and just circle file them.

there's a virtual keyboard in synthedit,or you can use the midiplayer.a lot of se1's don't come with any readme,so copyright isn't clear,but i think most people who share them,expect them to be used,though not so literally i think.but if you give full credit to the author then maybe that would be ok?
each case would be different,so,hmm.any se guru's wanna chip in here?

anyway, it may be a simple case of loading the se1,connecting the ins+outs and save as vst.

though you'll probably get missing module reports,which means it was made in an older version of se,or used 3rd party modules that are missing.in that case they can me tracked down fairly easily(if they were free ones).or sometimes you can replace them with a more recent one.
anyone could do it with only an hours experience on se.i'll help if i gots time.

(the rammerz ones have vst versions in there, anyhow. so i finished frankenstein2 instead,thanks for the fxb jimi,they worked this time!)

I also have a request, if u wayback evm synths on the first page April 2005 in the free plugins section there's Neutron and Maelstrom but no way to get em'. Anybody have em'? I mean if it's cool to share em'. If anyobody could get em' it would be u vst hunter\killers of this thread

These are pretty cool, the cz6000 one, is pretty much all gui and no innards, but I like the sound.

the devs forum is deep waters, and deals with all kinds of programming.
for newbie programmers, i mean: faq's, tips, modules, etc. AND links, maybe
also crossreferencing to the devs forum for things already dealt with.

a lot of se.1's are just components, not complete synths/fx.
were se1's to be compiled into vst's - and people might be justifiably touchy about that- maybe 'they'd all have to be into a standard skin, such as prophetblack.skin ( a standard SE skin )and acknowledged as SE 'patches',
with some kind of accreditation in the 'about'dialogue, as to source etc.

i haven't got the time to take it on atm,but i could contribute.i have permission to do one already.
