Feed your sampler's some hits n' get some groove and sorry for crossthreading but its worth it and nice one RunBeerRun for grabbing my attention as i had no idea that thread existed ;)

Great stuff

yep whenever i get this damn programming gig going, and i understand what i'm doing well enough i'll be able to pump out some good devices sometime... right now i'm mucho busy, but hopefully i can get paid again at some point.... i decided enough is enough when my last synthedit project was some 16 megabytes... and that was just the synthedit file, not the vst... i'm going to be doing stuff in a handcoded language.... but probably not vst, but still "plugin" type - except i'll just grab the audio buffer and pass it back out, rewire style... hopefully by december i'll know enoughh of what i'm doing to at least make a data converter like everyone always asks for... but who knows - i might get a chance to muss about with the synthedit sdk again and drop some somewhat useful modules... although i've been implicitly instructed to NOT study c++ for a while, at least until i get SOMEthing done on the contract i've been assigned... but it's so fun to not do what you're told.... egads, i've got to go - busy busy ......

yo!

id like to point out a couple of pluggies that have been quoted in this thread lately , since i m enjoying them lately

Xeet Street Comprimere
saturation effect, probably some outdated seeing whats coming out these days, but i found it still very good sounding on some synth lines

CraigBannister RoomMaker
this one amazed me, thinking about the fact it was conceived in 2001!
nice for strange room reverberations, and definitely full of knobs for modifying the parameters a lot in the sound

cant find a link handy for the 1st one at the moment sorry
roommaker instead can be found at
http://www.cosc.brocku.ca/~bross/4f90/

btw this thread has been quoted on a japanese forum i just discovered

:)

EDIT forgot to underline these ones as well, already quoted previously in some post

Hey dreadd thanks for the links, so i never seen/heard of before (like usual)

Nice one mate

Here is an old session of breaks i did and the sound is nice tight and punchy and very usable. it was programmed in ezdrummer and processed with some firm but fair SSL G-Series stereo bus compression and a small amount of EQ to give the kick a big punch and to bring out the ring off the snare, if anyone fancies chopping bits up and using them well that is what is intended for, the download is fairly large but that is because the file is a 16-bit/44.1khz stereo .Wav file lasting 4.50 minutes. Anyway if anyone finds it useful then thats great and here is the download link:

http://www.mediafire.com/?vaa8vra7ihg

I have plenty more newer breaks and all chopped into loops, hits and more: its just i still cant upload anything new to my damned mediafire account but as soon as i get that sorted then there will be plenty more stuff going up ;)

Also i recieved an e-mail enquiring about the brainworx plug-in jimi and myself have being talking about (bx_solo) so here is a direct link to their site to save anyone who would like to grab a copy the trouble of hunting for a it:

http://www.brainworx-music.de/

Best regards, take care and i will catch you all soon

Dean :)

If they sound shit then dont hold back from telling me ubi dreadd, and if you like them i got plenty more just need to sort tinternet out properly. But if they suck let and everyone else know to save them the download and also me to work harder at it: metal is my forte but a good friend is into electronic stuff so they happened out of the pair of us doing some stuff together :) and i must say it is enjoyable to do because i have not a clue what this or that might sound like, so i will make a racket and then i will let him hear it as its intented for us to maybe cut up and use and he will say its really good and it has a sort of 'insert x-band/artist name here' sound/feel if you know what i mean

thanks for the tip suh!!!! :tu: :hyper:
Its free black magic mate ;)

And no problems at all: i use their plug-ins alot, the Mid/Side thing offer is quite a unique take on typical M/S processing. All the payware plug-ins are available for demo: the bx_digital is a superb EQ/Mid/Side tool and general swiss army kniff jimi but not cheap however its really good when companies offer little gifts like that for free and now its right their in your folder for your mixing pleasure :tu:

If someone ever put together an essential freeware list then the brainworx solo would be in my top ten for sure

Catch you soon buddy

Dean :)
hi dean..

i am using that feckin plug on everything, you guys are gonna have to delete it from my daw pretty soon!!!

lol...

is there any way to automate it?
i'd love to do a left right rather than a front to back fade..
i think it would be cool as hell if it could be set to sweep the stereo width to the point it dissapears!
