Damn, I guess it's not worth bothering to pay for expedited shipping from Guitar Center. Paid $40 extra for UPS Next Day Priority when I ordered it Tuesday (you know, you make an impulse buy and you want quick gratification) and according to the tracking info, "A UPS shipping label has been created." Nothing about it even having shipped out yet. Rather unimpressive. Sure wouldn't get this kind of lackluster service from Sweetwater.

anything I buy from AMS comes overnight with the free ground shipping. Their warehouse is in NJ and UPS gets it here quick, sometimes patience yields surprises

I'd never orderd from GC before - I generally get items in 2 days from Sweetwater and Novamusik with the free standard shipping.

Actually it's not that big of a deal, or at least usually wouldn't be. I'm just a little bitchy right now because I gave up real cigarettes a couple of weeks ago and taking an occasional puff on an e-cig is not really the same (though I guess it's at least been helping keep me from going completely crazy and taking everyone else with me).
