The 1550 is still there, 430 is the current bid. I have never done e(b)ay before as I said, so don't know if I'll bid (one day left)
The 1520 I have pictured is slightly more desirable but for some reason even though it's a discontinued item.......people who have them want WAY more than I'm willing to pay currently.

Daddy's little girl forever...but never say never...I'm a gramps driving my daughter to school, but that's a good thing. I'm only 52, my wife is 13 years younger than me (dont worry she was 25 when we got togetherrobojam wrote:Thanks - she's really getting more grown up now but still knows how to turn the cute on.Hink wrote:School Bus Yellow is just not one of favorite colorsrobojam wrote:I'd imagine it would make wearing shades on stage a necessity rather than wearing them to look coolHink wrote:dont much care for the color
BTW, through the for of illness yesterday I saw the pics you posted of your daughter on FB...too cute for words, they really lifted my spirits...if you ask me it's about time for a Mike Jr
Problem with a Mike Jr is that I don't want him to appear to be taken to school by 'gramps', so I think Audrey is the last
Denise wasn't as happy

I'm not technically a grandfather, but I am 45 years older than my daughter...Hink wrote:Daddy's little girl forever...but never say never...I'm a gramps driving my daughter to school, but that's a good thing.

For a quick follow-up, I do believe the SRT is a keeper. Probably the most comfortable neck I've ever played on; I think it may be a bit thicker from front to back than the typical SR neck, but slimmer width than the ATK and very "fast." Nice woods and overall construction (certainly nicer than you'll get from most other brands at that price point), and it's pretty much the kind of tight/modern sound I'd expect from a bass with EMG's. Only real complaint is the cheap plastic knobs - the dual rings on the concentric knobs stick to each other and just feel very shoddy - but those are easily replaced with metal or custom wooden ones.hibidy wrote:Cool.
Please let us know about that bass....we don't get allot of bass talk here.
Here's a shot of my actual bass (instead of a stock pic). Even the piece of rosewood for the fretboard is quite nice.

How is it I keep getting unsubscribed from this thread? Could it be because this is the longest running thread in KvR

It really is lovely. What I've heard is that you can get the action down to insane levels on ibby basses.Vectorman wrote:For a quick follow-up, I do believe the SRT is a keeper.
