Ta Daa.. The secret is out..

In response to those that felt that the GUI might be a bit too abstract for their liking, we asked Odo (whose work , i feel, is the very best) if he fancied doing an uber-functional version of the GUI..

as you can see he has exceeded our wishes and I am very excited about this alternative GUI.

I'm not sure how far Odo is from finishing but I would expect it to be released within the week..

Many thanks Again to Odo for his work on this, to all the patch makers and especially to Tim Conrardy for the initial concept..

I guess my concern would be the VST ID..would they both have the same one? I guess so if they are going to share banks.

So can we just rename the second one to like
cygnus2.dll ?

I will offer the two GUIs as separate downloads .. They will both share the same .dll name and the same vstID so that they are fully patch compatible.. But there is nothing stopping you renaming the .dll I suppose..

The idea here is that you use one or the other, I cannot see much point in having both on your PC..

actually...theres nothing wrong with having both. There might be times when you feel like reaching for stars, and other times you want the knobs. I think by simply renaming the DLL you can have both, and have them in the same folder.( guess I have to try it when it comes out)

I think it would be good to have different vstID´s

because some hosts especially Cubase can handle multiple instances of the same plugin on the hd.
It crashes on startup.
but the patch-compatibility shouldnt be a problem, even then.

or maybe you just do a third version (with odos gui and a different vstID) for the poor cubase fellas

ahh... and surely I want both here on my hd too

I love the krakli and the odo stuff and for me a collab is a must have
