Hey, you know, I think we can agree that we have each found effective ways for rendering VSTi's in our hosts of choice. I don't think any program is offering anything earth-shatteringly different here, which is what I thought was being offered initially. I have learned more about my host's capabilities, though, which is cool.

yeah, and a separate menu is somehow easier and faster? How about you *tick* an option in just *one* menu instead. Certainly a handicap like that will totally kill inspiration and workflow.

Look, standing on one end of the scale while trashing the other will not accomplish anything. They're both very usable. Do I have to defend that stance, too?

Jens, continually posting screenshots of a rival sequencer in the RMS forum, along with insulting mis-information, does not count as "positive pressure".

There is no way that your anti-Tracktion invective can be considered fair or balanced: if it was I would not still be happily using it on a daily basis.

just like Tracktion doesn't have the other render menu which is for rendering any combination of parts back into the project

(the truth is actually it's just one single powerful menu coz eXT is simple)

Yes, because it appears right where you need it to when you select a track (or tracks)

I agree, it's more commonly known as constructive critisism, and knowing how to use as many sequencers as possible will help in this.

It's just that awfully many fail to understand the concept and take it personally if someone critisises their preference.

No, not if you spend all of your time complaining about the differences between them and never actually learn to use any of them properly..

Hey, I'm not complaining about anything here! Except about just this type of provocative posting.

I can rig the scales too, if that would ever accomplish anything but piss people off.

Quite a big disadvantage in Cubase SX3 !!!!!
