There is a new version coming out soon for the DSi. The extra memory in the DSi allows the upcoming DS10 plus to run twice as much. So 4 synth parts & 8 drum tracks. They have also tweaked the song mode. Looking good;

Anyone know if the new version has already been released in Japan yet?

GameStop lists October 20th the release date in the US(which happens to be the same day that Korg's DS-10 Elvis Cover contest ends...)..japanese release is sometime this month. Just wait and pay less for the domestic release. Euro release is couple of days after or before US release (i forget). It's not long off for any place in the world.

I have family in Japan now for most of September, so I could probably get a decent deal on this... I'll have to check out for when it will be release for sure there.hseiken wrote:GameStop lists October 20th the release date in the US(which happens to be the same day that Korg's DS-10 Elvis Cover contest ends...)..japanese release is sometime this month. So anyone here doing an Elvis Cover? I won't be entering (first I heard of it too), but am just curious to know if anyone is taking that challenge on.

never going to happen (editing would be atrocious..)musikmachine wrote:Hell Yeah!aMUSEd wrote:Surprised they haven't done an iPhone version of this yet![]()
however, there is that new Bleep!Box app/sequencer/synth which equally as awesome and a joy to edit.

Available now from YesAsia.com. This is where I bought my original DS-10 from. I might hve to purchase this version early as well. It's all in English anyway & you don' treally need instructions. It's a breeze to use.

EDIT: Should point out that the dual mode (double the number of everything from the oriignal DS-10) is only available for DSi users. I think the DSi has more memory than the original DS & the dual mode takes advantage of this.

Oh well. Bleep!Box looks like a nice alternative though.mute wrote:never going to happen (editing would be atrocious..)musikmachine wrote:Hell Yeah!aMUSEd wrote:Surprised they haven't done an iPhone version of this yet![]()
