Though i don't disagree with the statement, i'm not really sure it was properly said, this for the same reason !_leras wrote:Development speed = not tested properly...VariKusBrainZ wrote:Development speed = Wow!!!!

I can say that as a user I don't mind the bugs I've seen that have been addressed quickly after being reported (ie. within a short number of hours), I would much rather the development speed be fast and transparent, and I don't mind being on the QA team in this instanc
Maybe releasing builds at KVR first so we can kick her tires a bit would be better but I can't complain. The amount of solid useful updates since I bought Corona a couple weeks ago is way more preferable than waiting forever for small bugs to be fixed and wishful thinking regarding possible improvements. Compared to most of the competition Corona's development for me gets 5 stars. I'm happily waiting for the next build to try out.

to be fair I've been playing with the demo (only a little), and it didn't seem too buggy...
However, I've found other issues with it:
- The resonance just seems a bit/really weird sounding to me..
- It's really unintuitive... any idea how a filter will sound with all those options... with that many options a graphic would help 'visualise' what the differences are.
- Just seems to need more controls on view. Just seemed a faff to try and set all three oscillators
For what should be a pretty straight forward synth, the interface just seemed to make it a pain to play with... add in the odd sounding resonance and it just seems like to much hard work to coax good sounds out of it.

Actually I am feeling it is much easier than most
though the more esoteric osc combinations are a little beyond me, it is OK because it gives some interesting results. For me Corona is easy to use and easy to get the results I'm looking for, with a bunch of depth in the oscillators I can delve into when feel so inclined. Regarding resonance, it sounds fine to me though you do need to watch it when switching between the normal and 0df filters as that makes a big difference, you have to lower res with the 0df considerably from my experience.
Anyhow I've invested a little time making sounds so at this point I don't know how 'unintuitive' it may be to others, but it wasn't so hard to grasp to me. Of course everyone has a different brain and works in different ways.

Loving the interface more and more. Never been a fan of mod matrices, though, and quick assignments per drop-down menus would be welcome, but it's an evil I've learned to live with. Grudgingly.

Yeah at first I was not a fan of the color scheme, but it is easy on the eyes when using for long periods of time (the Dark one anyhow), plenty of others that look 'nicer' to me that are hard to read and look at for too long. I'm OK with the mod matrix because it is at least easy to read and understand what it is doing.ariston wrote:Loving the interface more and more. Guys you'll have to give me couple days to get over my cold before I wrap up the patches. Sorry, everybody around me had this stuff and now I have to get it during the weekend. Have burning fever so about to hop off this machine.
Additionally, George..looks like intermittent crashing when using the randomise wave and tone buttons feature. I hadn't even touch them before the end of last week and then when trying them out, two times the synth cratered (the interface become white and opaque with an hourglass).
Win7 w/ Ableton Live 8.3
Cheers and havve a great week ppl

Hi George...all
Would like to set start phase in the LFO modules. Also, would like access to Env depth of the Mod Env in Destinations as well as be able to use F2's Env and LFO as a source in the matrix.
Uploading some free patches tonight
Cheers!

Hi,
Here's a bank of 37 or so patches with either stuff I've been using in projects or just me experimenting with features. Enjoy

Cheers!

PS - George, in a future release it would be nice to send OSCs output to either Only F1, Only F2 or a blend b/t the two filters. Would also be nice to have option to set filters in Serial or Parallel routing config. Just a thought
