Is the sound quality and pitch shifting as good as Emulator X3?

Phalanx doesn't have pitch shifting, (I posted somewhere in this thread what I think about stretching samples, especially drumsamples) but the sound quality for the normal pitching quality is excellent and nearly alias free!

Does anyone know where the factory library is stored on your hard drive (mac)?
I can't seem to find it and i want to drag it into Lives "places" so i can use it in drum racks with push.

I just looked, but there are no samples there (only basic.fpk and premium.fpk). I'm guessing i can only have access to the individual samples inside of Phalanx, and cannot load them into other sample players?

Does this thing really only have 2 sample slots per pad?

all 16 pads can be merged to one, so it basically has 32, which should be enough

I'd be interested in something that allows me to load more than two samples onto a pad, gives me the possibility to edit each sample (not just each pad), lets me trigger all samples on one pad from one MIDI note, and then send various pads/multi-sample combinations to separate outputs.
You know, to create complex drum sounds... sort-of like Geist but without all the unnecessary routing and bussing and fx-ing and sequencing and so on. Is that possible?
I'd try the demo, but...

I really like it, first I was bit intimidated with the interface but actually it's very nice and fast to work with. You can get really nice and fast results with this, bit like Abletons Simpler but just 1000000 times more versatile
circuit modeling and 0-dfb filters are cool

@chokehold
here is something about the sample pads and the routing
and here about the advanced audio and MIDI routing:
but I recommend to watch all 10 videos in the right order from 1 to 10

The new Arpeggiator and Trance Gate look very good indeed. Very similar to those in Nexus.
Has the release date been confirmed yet?
