Countdown to Sample Tank 3, with 64 bit support

I can only speak for myself but IK has always treated me great. I really like their products and while I don't think they are perfect they are one of my favorite software companies.

i see in your signature you own IK Total Studio... just curious how much did you spend on IK Total Studio?... because i paid $299 just for Sampletank... if i purchased my IK Multimedia products during a "Group Buy"... then they would be one of my favorite software companies too!!!

The only things of theirs I have bought during any of their sales was their workstations. I have the entire T-Racks line, the entire amplitube line, iRig keys, irig mic cast, and irig mix. Not sure that that matters because my enjoying their products have nothing to do with price. I have spent way less on my Native Instruments stuff and I really dislike the company NI. Their phone support guys have really turned me off on them but I still love Maschine and really like my Komplete 9 bundle.

be honest!!!! 2 years ago today did you own any IK Multimedia products... 2 years ago today... i would bet none of the IK Multimedia products would run on a Sempron processor... think back... 2 years ago today... did you own any IK Multimedia products...

Oh and why are we still talking about computers I used for 8 months and making it sound like its all I've ever had lol. Again you seem biter. If anyone says they like something you don't you go out of your way to make them look incorrect on the internet lol. And yes I was buying quite a few vsts on that sempron machine. Had Sampletank free on it, had lounge lizard on it, had sonar on it, and a few other things. It ran about the same as my P4 desktop that I had before that. If you go back and look at system requirements I am pretty sure Record 1.5/Reason which I was running at the time took more to run than Sampletank but of course you like to argue.

I've never denied them sending me the keyboard. In fact I have been very open about it. Doesn't change me liking or not liking what they do. Seems like you are trying to take away the fact that I like what they do or trying to say maybe its tainted when I have always said I like their stuff from the moment I started dealing with their products. Or do you think they have been sending me things from day one to get me to say that lol. Do you think NI gave me a free copy of Maschine 2.0 to talk about how much I love it too? the question is not the length you were on a Sempron processor... but what did the Sempron processor replace for it to be your musical production machine? that is the question...

I'm enjoying the products. Dimension is collecting 'dust on the drive' because of it. I bought into a sale before for just Sampletank and then jumped on the VI-GB, so I paid a little more than everyone else and wound up with two licenses of SampleTank. Got a Gold Bundle deal from a popular dealer here, so my total cost so far is over $200.00 and I don't slight IKM in the least for it. Marketing is marketing and we can kick ourselves for bad timing, praise ourselves for good timing, spend bitter remorse in 'coulda, shoulda, woulda' or bitter resentment to anything outside ourself for ultimately making the decision. I just found out about the "$9.99" re-activate download fee, and while it doesn't please me, it doesn't vex me to the end of all things either. (But then again, I really have no need for a re-download anyway. It's just in consideration of dispensing of the second license. And I know there's a transfer fee too. Knew that when buying in.) Definitely not a point that would make me go on a rampage to the company. And I have to continue to say, the support has been great!

I have definite favorites in the Gold Bundle, and definite ones I consider to need a lot of improvement. But again, for the price I paid, I'm content with the total package.

And I plan on jumping on this latest Group Buy during Black Friday. (That dealer is offering something special and above by getting it through them.)

If you don't enjoy it, give it away to someone that will.

Well since you put it so nicely.... I haven't hyped anything without stating exactly what I was told was accurate information. As stated earlier, keep an eye on our official channels for any further news as we will share it that way so nobody gets bent out of shape over what is said (or, more accurately, they'll have a central place to get information over which to get bent out shape).

Note also that we did not start this thread and I've tried to give the best info I can.

IK Multimedia could have a another group buy (it is X-MAS time!!!)... $200 for the workstation i.e. sampletank, sonic synth, etc, etc, etc... the rules for the group buy are... if 1000 join the group buy you will get some free "sh!t"... if 2000 join... you get more free "shit"... you do the math!!! the current version of Sampletank has been paid for for years... all these sales are gravy... now i believe that Sampletank 3 will be announced at NAMM and released the end of the first quarter 2014...i also believe that is enough time for about another 3 to 4 group buys...clear profit... i know if i ran IK Multimedia that is what i would do!!!

On the official Facebook page of IK Multimedia they have an album of photo's of all the instruments they have been sampling for ST3. The first one is from 22 Oct 2010 and the last update is from September 2013. So it looks like they've been working on this for some time. I really hope this is a killer product with some additional sampling possibilities beyond playback of samples. I'm not a huge fan of Kontakt and i'd like to get my hands on this.

what? you cant trust IK's word here? wow! never thought that..

i dont care really (just take the chance to say it here) because i'm very happy with my regulary updated x64 Kontakt and all the 3rd party banks i have for it.
