I got it to install but when scanning for the VSTi in Reaper it crashes everytime too , Renoise is hanging scanning for plugins , ti see the AUi but crashes Reaper when loading the plugin ....Yosemite is worse than Vista or 8 ...... this isnt my music computer thank god . I think everything is good that I downloaded from Camel Site Im windows7 but I dont want to fool with that install until its time for new machine and Windows10... Im just getting really tired of the 10.10 OSX , I could make a long list of things ...The main thing is they are trying to lock it all to app store , its coming .

Yosemite seems a pain all the way around. Why is it?

Why I hate Yosemite , so far .......here goestrimph1 wrote:Yosemite seems a pain all the way around. Why is it?
boot takes longer ( no ssd )
Volume Icon is gone off top tab ( i got it back now )
Mac HD is gone off screen ( fixed )
Software has to be signed or from App store ( for camel stuff I had to go change a setting somewhere)
And now this with the plugin crashing in hosts when scanned and not loading the AUi even .
This has been the worst OS update ever .

The really annoying thing is they have tried to make it almost compulsory if you have any iOS devices and want to use the iCloud features. I have avoided Yosemite so far but it means to can no longer sync my iOs devices using iCloud because the bastards made it impossible to use iCloud drive under Mavericks.fedexnman wrote:Why I hate Yosemite , so far .......here goestrimph1 wrote:Yosemite seems a pain all the way around. I had the same problem at first. When my hosts scanned the plugin folder it crashed my hosts.... either on scan or on loading Alchemy. I re-downloaded it and it worked after that. I think it was the plugin installer file that was not complete. Try downloading again and use a download manager if you can, so that you are sure you get complete files. It was a total pain in the butt at first.fedexnman wrote:Must be me then ..... I have no idea whats going on then

Yosemite fine here with Live 9 and Alchemy, Camelphat + space. Only thing I can't use on it is Novations plugins. Both needed reauthousation after migrating HD from old to new mac but clicking on "activate" crashed Live.fedexnman wrote:I recommend not to upgrade to Yosemite , if there is anyone that has success with this on Yosemite please feel free to chime in .

Yes , thats the behavior I had , I guess delete the plugin and libs and redownload it all . Oh what fun .manytone wrote:I had the same problem at first.
