it's not beta related, but please remove the voicing based inheritance between ghosted (or make it optional at least for backward compatibility)phrases, it kills the copying variations workflow (I have to use the "Inhibit Copying Variations" to disable it but it also removes the phrase based variations too)


practically for ex. I would like to double the bass/root note only in the first phrase, others may use different one

When I click on the chord names it seldoms select it. I have to click a great deal to get the chord selector to show up.

I know why that is. If you click lower than the tip of the small tab /\ the click will be ignored. I'll try to fix that. Please decrease the height of the Quick Suggestions e.g. by excluding passing chords so that it fits under the chords. I assumed that passing chords are not displayed by default, I was wrong and I fixed that. It is not a good idea to enable all the options in Quick Suggestion as it becomes very high.

I enable experimental mode and i look for a way to make for example in strummer the text "strum pattern" and "Rythm processing" at least 7 pixel smaller so it have same size as window title text "Phrase". is this possible ? if this can make smaller there can have 1 text line more and 3 notes more display.

really good that you do new font engine. Text is now much better read and i use now instead of 14 point font 13 point font and can have more on screen.

IMO it's also an older bug, the "Ignore non-existent chord note" is dropped/not used between generator type conversions

it results extra notes which can't be removed just with generator > phrase conversion, phrase > generator conversion also drops it

if a Chord ones is dropped onto a Chord one it's working (keeps the Ignore... settings), this is it how should work with others too IMO

I noticed too if you delete the non-existent notes and apply it, the phrase retains the generator name and doesn't change to the name "edited"..

I see what you mean. Good point BTW.
The problem is that some phrase generators deliberately do not use this "Ignore..." flag.
For example when you set 4 as the key range in the Arpeggiator, you expect using C4-E4-G4-C5 notes for a C major chord instead of swallowing the non-existent 4th chord note.
I fixed this for the piano chord pattern generator, but I propose a better solution:



You have full control over this flag, in addition you can combine this with 'Inhibit copying variations' for ghost phrases...

At the moment there is no beta version. v3.62 includes all the fixes for issues reported for the last beta version.
