Just a friendly warning to you guys...

If you're using some of the distortion FX as an insert, keep the volume LOW if you're gonna be flipping through presets. Stuff like Fuzzbox's Artifact Creator and Bass Waveform Mangler presets are positively head splitting. Each has their two respective EQ bands set to +24. I've overwritten both of these presets with their output around -15dB.

EDIT: Mh, the demo installer on OSX behaves strangely, it seems to scan the whole drive endlessly and I simply cannot select the root volume drive... Extracted the .vst now manually...

Question: I just published my first Avenger Content file. How does somebody now import that expansion into Avenger and is there a way I can test this to make sure it worked properly?

What's the highest polyphony for avenger?
I always find myself getting cut notes when playing big chords with the pads presets and I think I can only have 32 voices of polyphony.
Is this really the case? I am suprised if so as this is very restricting. We should have the option to opt for as many voices as our systems can take, no?

Here u can increase voices per osc (64 max voices)

The global voices will be affected by how many osc play on same key. If you use 2 oscillators , (not same as osc count but 2 osc tabs) will use up 2 voices in global section but only each tab will use 1 voice on one keypress.
If you have long release time and play before the other stoped playing you will stack voices on top off eachother because it hasnet stopped playing.
32 voices is half from max you can set but really more than you need. If you hit limit probably because you have to long release, or if you have 8 oscillator tabs open, then 4 fingers will fill all 32 voices. Hope you get the logic so you can program better for your need. also each oscillator can stack 4 samples per osc, so if you wana use samples u dont have to use em on all 8 osc tabs but can use equally many on 2 osc by stacking 4 on each.

So now, when I want to zip up the whole library, I just have to zip up the avxp folder?

Are imported samples, wavetables embed in saved patches automatic?

just rightclick on your user expansion icon and select "publish" expansion
an .avengercontent file is being generated with your expansion, and everything which belongs to it (samples, drums, etc)

Okay, I have done this. Now, how does somebody get that avengercontent file back into Avenger? I am stuck here. I see nothing in the manual and there is no option in the file browser to "import expansion."

** EDIT ** Okay, I just saw that this can now be done via the internal file browser in 1.0.27. But what it somebody is not yet on 1.0.27? Is there no way to import an Avenger content file?

1 just drag and drop the .avengercontent file into Avengers open GUI (from your OS or from Avengers Filebrowser)
2 on the SYStem tab, [content] there is an import button

Any synth can do old skool sounds, that's just my point. No need to buy a synth like Avenger for that.

I would be very happy to have analog style presets for Avenger. I don't want 1000 synths to work with but only few to create the sound that I need. Seems far more logic than working with many.
