everybody gets worked up over 1.0.27? why? sure i loved the visual feedback on eq that we have been asking and its almost unrealistic that they added that feature, almost groundbreaking having that in a vsti. But what did it turn into the best synth ever with 1.0.27, what was added that in your opnion made it that and your godly? Was my favorite before that...kanzler wrote:godly wrote:Now with the update 1.0.27, I finally have found some real time to start editing the synth, and i must say again:msvs wrote:there is an UNDO

The other fixes in 1.0.27 perhaps? It's a nice patch, works very well here.Coockie1176ln wrote:everybody gets worked up over 1.0.27? why? sure i loved the visual feedback on eq that we have been asking and its almost unrealistic that they added that feature, almost groundbreaking having that in a vsti. It's not perfect but at least some bugs are solved, now I can start using it.Coockie1176ln wrote:everybody gets worked up over 1.0.27? why? sure i loved the visual feedback on eq that we have been asking and its almost unrealistic that they added that feature, almost groundbreaking having that in a vsti. Still, lots of gui and font problems, but I'm sure that will be fixed in time.
And trust me this is a great sounding Synth.

I agree. Look at all the previous patches + the last one. All together they make this synth a good, stable and complete product. When it was released it had it's niggles and some functions weren't properly (not enough at least) implemented. Most of that is fixed.lavizh wrote:The other fixes in 1.0.27 perhaps? I dont thin its the fonts that are to big of an issue. Might be something that the synth is optimised for 2k and 4k displays and it downscales for hd content when scaling it down making the quality blurry. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/QyioGSmZjeo/maxresdefault.jpggodly wrote:It's not perfect but at least some bugs are solved, now I can start using it.Coockie1176ln wrote:everybody gets worked up over 1.0.27? why? sure i loved the visual feedback on eq that we have been asking and its almost unrealistic that they added that feature, almost groundbreaking having that in a vsti. Also read about tv with 4k that was blurry something caused by "from 4:4:4 color to 4:2:0. Text becomes harder to read etc." http://www.avsforum.com/forum/166-lcd-f ... ormal.html
Something atleast with it i think is whats causing this mess. Only thing i am waiting for now is a fix for that. But i think downscaling a higher resolution content is the issue for us with hd displays. I tested upscale resolution the resolution to 2560x1440 my screen so it downscaled everything and text in browser on hd display and stuff suddenly got blurry, i am in my browser. Might be something looks the same as avenger issue.
Also cpu could be better, dune 2 that use over 500 oscillators per note use way less cpu with 500 oscillators than avenger do with 100 oscillators running. So there is things things still in cpu that could be improved. but its my favorite synth and still needs this main issues fixed

I think 1.0.27 came out like, a day or two after I bought it. So that's the only Avenger I've ever known. I have to agree with everyone fawning over avenger though. It's a magnificent synth. Maybe the best synth I've ever used. In addition to being ridiculously capable, it's just so damn easy to use. The whole UI just works together in such an ergonomic, stress free environment.

love this synth and don't wanna sound negative, but am I the only one who finds editing in the Drum Seq to be a real pain? I love the depth of functionality (e.g. all the per-note controls like pan, reverse, and ESPECIALLY the knob that lets you choose where on the wave the beat timing occurs) but I really dislike having to constantly click those two buttons at the bottom to alternate between Drawing and Selecting; this feels VERY cumbersome and work-flow killing, is there a short cut I'm missing ??
Also, the velocity lane seems worthless to me, since it shows all notes at all times, which means they just overlap each other and there's nothing you can do there without going up and clicking specific notes, in which case, why show the overlapping mess in the first place? If you could select a specific drum hit, then it could show velocity only for that drum hit across the sequence, which would make sense; but in this current form, there's just endless overlapping velocity data so I never end up touching any of it, and rather just edit notes individually with selection / velocity dial, which means the whole lane is basically useless noise. I'd prefer to be able to easily edit / draw down there, showing one 'sample lane' at a time.
just some thoughts! With a few tweaks it could be a fantastic drum seq!

Hi Michael,
Maybe you could send this suggestion to Rene the developer, because I'm not sure he's reading this page.
Many people did other suggestions, including me, but i don't see any of it implemented.
Of course, i think it's still in debugging phase probably.

yes... you missed, that you just can hold the SHIFT key to switch between the modesbut I really dislike having to constantly click those two buttons at the bottom to alternate between Drawing and Selecting; this feels VERY cumbersome and work-flow killing, is there a short cut I'm missing ??
the "draw select box" mode comes in here again. Just hold SHIFT, select all Notes you want to edit the velocity, and only those are highlightet now. You can draw now the Velocity of only these notes without affecting all the others. Or you could use CURSOR UP / CURSOR DOWN to alter the Velocity up and down with keeping their relativity to each other. Thats all explained in the manual btwAlso, the velocity lane seems worthless to me, since it shows all notes at all times, which means they just overlap each other and there's nothing you can do there without going up and clicking specific notes,

I can clearly see an "Undo" button. But where is "Redo" button and "Undo History" are located ? Those two functions are not mentioned in manual also.msvs wrote:there is an UNDO
