Bugbug - that has confused a lot of new participants.

When you first register your XT player on the IK site, an extra menu item labeled "multibox" magically appears in your IK user area menu.

That's where you select your first choice (the one you theoretically bought to get the other seven as freebies). Click on it and enter your selection there, and then get your seven bonus choices by clicking on Promotions.

And a reminder for anyone who signs up more than once... on the Promotions page, each icon only appears on screen once no matter how many times you sign on. But you still get all your choices, as each icon can offer more than one selection.

For example, if you join the Group Buy three times, clicking "4x1" on the Promotions page will lead you to a screen giving you three different drop-down boxes to make your selections - one for each time you joined.

Oops... you already responded. Glad to see you got it worked out.

We've hit 200 pages for this thread!

Peter - are you perhaps hinting that one or more new, smaller packages will be released that are connected to an already existing and larger product/product line?

(If so, that bit in Italian was a GREAT tease.)

Well the translation was a bit rough for me, I'm an American with Italian heritage which leaves me knowing more slang and swears than "real" words, I'm afraid to say. However, that's not exactly what I was hinting. Some aspects are "less" some are "more" and it may just make some folks here happy from what I've inferred and read.

Ah, I was hoping it might involve individual components of a big product being released as "singles" options or less expensive mini-bundles.

I'm pretty sure you'll do that with this specific product at some point, and that it's simply a matter of when. That less/more hint made me think this might be the time...

Reposting my question as I haven't gotten an answer..

Is this:

Squids Rare Instruments Vol. 1 Electronic
http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=1993& refcode=xpmoreKVR

available as an esoundz bonus for the St2 library group buy? If so, I am going to go in the group buy once more.. If not, I'll get this pack anyway with a 50% discount..

Unless something has changed since I made my selection the answer is no.
The rare vintage collecton that has been mentioned is this: http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=1997

When I made my +1 bonus selection, the Squids Rare Instruments sets were NOT available as bonus choices. I don't think that has changed.

As Oiramo said, the "Rare Vintage Collection" is on the list, but the "Squids Rare Instruments" sets are NOT on the list.

(And to repeat the earlier warnings, the "Rare Vintage Collection" set isn't anything new. All the sounds are from the Electric Guitar, Acoustic Drums and Vintage Keys collections that are already part of the Group Buy.)

Thanks!

seems that this is the fastest way to install the files.
I too hope I don't miss any combis...

I noticed the same, but then I also noticed the installer is not needed at all: instead of running the installer and moving the files from the default install location, you can just copy the contents of the "Instruments" folder straight into your Sampletank sound location. That's what the installer does, anyway, but only defaults to the C: location.

This way I have all the sounds and child presets in Sampletank as I should. But I guess it never hurts to ask: IK people, did I miss something by doing this? Does the installer install something else, like ready-made combis or similar, perhaps? (I'm not sure I need those, though :).. But something else?)

6203 registrations! and climbing!
Yes, I have that too, but it did not occurr to me that they were counting this as a slot for the Xpansion buy. I do not think they are, but now I am wondering if they should not have put it there at all. It has been a mystery.

Thanks, Chester. I was looking on the IK site.
