Thanks, can I add the template to a dedicated thread on our forums? It would be of help.
Also, we just got the skin code better and it will change without reopening it. Will try to publish update this afternoon or tomorrow.

Yes that's fine - I've also imported and tagged all the KVR banks:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/564 ... /OB-Xd.zip
could do the others too if it is OK to do that (free ones only of course)

The 1.4 installer doesn't work for me on Mavericks – no VST installed…

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

It's installing to the wrong location that's why - it's putting them in the user VST/AU folders which no one else uses, not the system ones.

I'll fix that later on the afternoon. I don't want the installer to ask for admin password and any host should locate the plug-ins at the home folder VST location but it's notaMUSEd wrote:It's installing to the wrong location that's why - it's putting them in the user VST/AU folders which no one else uses, not the system ones.

Thank you very much for the update and for your work. OB-Xd 1.4 works fine in Reaper Win7 x 86. I made a video where you can see that the v1.4 consumes much CPU compared to a previous version(v1_1). What is the reason? Could be improved CPU consumption? A lot of thanks for continue the development. Regards.

We are using the same exact engine sources from 1.1. Will investigate, thanks.

So find device, hit button and then select patch... sorry but how is this different from selecting a preset in any synth out there. I've got it in Bitwig and seems pretty easy.ras.s wrote:Works now as expected over here as well.
I second what other people have said that it would be good to have a list of patches there as well. For instance in Bitwig, I need to find the plugin in the device chain (which can be easy or difficult depending if I've hidden it in some layer or not), then click a button to find the list of patches and then scroll around to find the patch that I'm looking for.

It would only be about ergonomics.
In reply to that same comment George mentioned Reaper, and it provides a frame around the plugin interface with a list of the patches of the current bank. Bitwig doesn't do that and that's why I find it useful that plugins provide access to their patches as well. Not only that it's quick and keeps me focused on the plugin instead of the host, but since it's now possible to choose banks in OBXD I think the possibility to list and switch presets would go nicely with that. So I suggested it.
Having such a list (alongside Skins and Banks) -- I admit it would probably be redundant in most hosts because pretty much every host provides a list of the plugin's patches directly on the interface. But even for hosts that do provide such a list, it might be beneficial for the user if all the patches are visible at the same time, so as to reduce scrolling and simply just finding the desired patch quickly.
(Of course one could argue that in the case of Bitwig, even the new feature of listing the banks is useless, since the banks are already available in Bitwig's own browser... yet it's actually quite nice to have the list there in the plugin itself.)
And with all this yadda yadda, George, how about a customisable default bank?

It's actually a good idea, we will think about adding it for the next update thanksras.s wrote:And with all this yadda yadda, George, how about a customisable default bank?

Got the new version but the skins and banks menu although showing up on the GUI do not load anything. The menu script remains faded- you know greyed out sort of. Any fix for this or maybe its just my system. Thanks. lucknow13.
