Do you think there's more hidden stuff in there...?jens wrote:the funny thing is: Jorgen never mentioned it so I guess he didn't know...![]()
Maybe eXT is like a software Pandoras Box kind of a thing! Open it and you might solve the mysteries of the universe or it might go....SPLAT!

It's not really a hidden feature though, more just using existing features in a different way. This option is something of a testament to how flexible EnergyXT is, so many things can be used in ways they just weren't intended to.

Actually I firmly believe that jorgen built the foundation of EnergyXT without probably even guessing as to what could be achieved with its flexible structure.
I have no doubt that jorgen looked at some of NicFit's posts from time to time and went "f**k - it can do that?!".
Once you allow a program to allow multiple level plug-ins of itself into itself, there is an enormous range of flexibility that even the designer wouldn't have contemplated.
The fact that you can assign a plug-in to a track, de-assign it and then use it as an ouput and thus form a group channel I'm guessing wasn't even remotely in the plans. It just took someone to discover that the existing structure allowed for that creative use. And then all you need is the dud PassThrough plug of only 76k or something and BAM!

Happiness is the hidden behind the obvious.
