yes but unfortunately there are problems with fxfreeze wrappers in renoise currently. taktik is working on this at the moment though. The track freeze VST will work however if you add a workaround or change certain configs in renoise. I was just trying an alternative here.

Also Fxfreeze uses a non-wav format (as far as I can tell). With having an alternative, rendering could be used in renoise for quicker freezing.

and btw, isn't there already such wav players also?

eXT is the only one I know of via using the sequencer, which is what got me onto thinking that this may somehow then be possible in SE. Again was looking just for a more convenient way. Any suggestions of other apps that do this would be welcome also.

hmm, what about syncing another host to renoise, and after rendering some tracks, just disable them and drag'n'drop the resulting waws into the other seq? anyone tried that? i'd imagine that would make spreading the loops into a complete song even a bit easier than it is in renoise ..

but then again, you'd have to work two hosts .. :P
