does any1 know a freeware virtual CD drive,
that works good on WinXP?
I think Daemon tools should do the job.
Don't you have a CD drive in your machine?
I've always had problems with Daemon Tools.

I gonna try this
sound is vibration, vibration is life

Daemon tools here:

I never used them, but the specs are looking good - however, if aMUSEd had bad experiences I've got no reason to say anything different...

If you own Nero, Nero ImageDrive works flawlessly.

So let's get this strait, you have to own rebirth to use the "free" version? that seems odd..hm I own it (since 98) ..haven't used any of the latest mods in years tho'

And thanks to the original poster for the info.

Yes, AFAIK

It's been around for ages...
Yeah I know. I just think it's kindof funny recalling all those interminably boring "my 303 emu is better than yours" debates to recall the ReBIrth was always held up as the one to aim for - I never knew it was really just a sampleset with a sequencer front end.
I always thought the 303's were an emulation and the samples from the drums..
Ah well if that's the case....

Can I ask :

Is Rebirth a standard VST instrument ?

...or is it a standalone synth ?

Can it only be used by Reason users ?

it's a standalone, but you can use rewire in any compatable host.
