You should not be able to delete the Master section in the main mixer. The option is available, however, and if you try it will crash XT. Don't know why I tried.
TIME IS WHAT KEEPS EVERYTHING FROM HAPPENING ALL AT ONCE.

I scanned the reported bugs, but didn't see anything like what I am experiencing:
1) Start with an empty project in standalone, 8/26/05 beta. (latest default gui)
2) Create a sequencer comp.
3) In the sequencer, route a midi track to the EnergyXT plugin (8/26/05 beta version)
4) Open the EnergyXT plugin, and try to load any pre-saved .ext project.
5) Every time I do this, my PC hangs up. Attempting to close eXT results in a "not responding" message, and I'm usually able to kill it off.
I have re-booted my PC several times, and even tried renaming my energxt.ini file. The results are the same and very repeatable.
The behavior is the same even if I try to load a previously saved empty project (eliminating the question of a "problem" VST)
The version of the EnergyXT plugin does not make a difference.
However, I have no problems with the previous standalone beta (8/12/05).
Also, if I disconnect the sequencer audio out to master before I attempt to load the project in the EnergyXT plugin, everything works fine.
Can anyone confirm this?

This sounds like variation on the bug I brought up in another thread.SWTrex wrote:I scanned the reported bugs, but didn't see anything like what I am experiencing:

SWTrex: Yes, it hangs horribly every time for me also. Use the EnergyXTe dll though, and it will work.

OK, hre's a minor one I haven't seen mentioned yet:
if you make a volume curve for an audio clip (by adding nodes in the wave editor) and then chop up the audio clip into smaller pieces, the pieces have the full volume curve of the original clip scaled down to fit the small piece.
For example:
1) start with an audio clip and add a short fadein and fadeout.
2) chop clip into 8 pieces.
3) every clip has the fadein and fadeout. I believe clip 1 only should have a fade in, clip 8 only should have the fadeout.

Agreed, and even in a single clip the volume curve moves when you change the start or end position.
