They should say that the download is a .iso. before they ask for a username & a password, I thought it was a installer or maximum 40 megs, it's not like it is a full soft-studio but 500 megs for this...

I'm just taking the piss here. Nice of them to make it free. Would have been REALLY nice to have stripped out the CP and made it a simple installer but that's asking an awful lot and looking a gift horse in the mouth. Just felt like stirring up the Sh*t.

Still cant download the ISO (getting 8kbps and frequent drops) But I prepared for later by downloading all the mods! There are 53 mods (about 200meg) and they all downloaded at 40kbps for me! Odd how the ISO is soo slow but the mods arent so bad...figured everyone would want the mods too...

Has anybody successfully downloaded and installed this thing? The most I could get was 22% download after about 12 hrs. It would not resume. Cancelled, tried again, and only got to about 3% download before it froze.

Try Free Download Manager. It's been resuming after tons and tons of drop-outs all day.

I expect to have this thing runnin' on my studio PC by mornin'.

you don't need to burn the image file if you use a virtual drive such as Alcohol 120% of Daemon Tools...

Yes, using a download manager is a good idea. Maybe Propellerheads should have suggested something like that on their website. Maybe even put it at the top of the page, highlighted in some color which grabs the eye. Red perhaps.

I'm getting screwed with Free Download Manager actually. It says 'File Not Found' consistently now when IE or Firefox will pick it up, albeit slowly and end up dropping out.

I guess this morning I'll be doing laundry while finally getting around to using Inspector XL and a few other VSTs that I've been too dorky to get down ot the music PC.

I wonder, with this being freeware, the legalities of D/L a No-CD crack for this version AFTER one has registered and D/L'ed from Props???
