Sense (adam Raisbak? from OZ?) has two of the most beautiful pieces of elctronica I've heard.

Also, Shonen Knife: Japanese Housewife Power Punk.

And well know regionally, but absolutuley underappreciated;
Oingo Boingo (Weird Science was at once the best and worst thing that happened for them.)

I could list a whole bunch, but instead I'll advise you to check the Krankyroster.
I don't know half of them, but if those I don't know are as brilliant as the ones I know, and the ones I heard on the Kranky podcast that came with the Brainwashed podcast last week, they're all worth checking out.
