what host are you using, personally? will you be doing your own GUIs, and - will they emulate hardware, or will you borrow from past programming/software experience?

i agree with jens and nuffink et al in here, and i read the other thread too. kudos, admiralquality, for attempting to make something. dsp is hard-ass shit and it's good to see people getting into it.

but:

1) don't slag off people for using SE. i'm a C++ programmer, but i use SE too, and it's just as valid a development tool as any other.
