its not the first time pendulum have plagarized the shit out of other songs.

I know that the entire melody of "slam" is completely stolen from something but i cant put my thumb on it. Listening to pendulum i always get the "hey ive heard this melody from somewhere" feeling.

Also i think Bowie has had more shit stolen from him than any other artist.

no i mean pendulum is pop because they are marketed like pop artists in relation to regular DnB artists. I.E., appearing on MTV2 and teenie bopper magazines, etc.

Im not saying thats a bad thing. If i were to list a DnB top ten, Pendulum would definatley have 2 or 3 tracks in it.

DM's guide was a let-down for me, given his 2 previous albums. It's a shame that it is his most popular.

i'm just jokin around. the bassline is pretty generic phrygian and I'm sure it's been used tons of times before bowie/reznor. but, i'm starting to hear some of the same riffs over and over again in everything i'm hearing nowadays

His 2 albums, "System Upgrade" and "Sixth Session" are the absolute darkest/intense DnB out there, IMO.

besides being full of great tracks, his mixing is impeccable on these albums as well
