when you add the extra freeze stuff, would it be hard to add a freeze folder track option?
i was thinking,
if all the tracks in your folder track only use 4 different outputs to the sequencer, it would just make 4 wave files (or 1 if you was only using 1 out from the sequencer from the tracks inside the folder track) & it would lock the folder track or somthing like that intill it was unfrozen
this would be verry usefull for freeing up cpu & disk resorces Quickly!
did that make sence?

freezeing in eXT seems to free up less CPU than in T2 so a way to freeze a few vsti's in one freeze file would be handy
ATM i am rendering to wav & disableing the vst's by hand, then i have to do quite a few steps to deleat the render after,
of course if you could permently deleate audio files from within eXT & deleate all unused audio files in the audio pool, then there would be less of a need for this FR
