Read the date on the thread in your link. That post was abt v4 --> v5. Don't quote something one year old. I think it is completely irrelevant to my current situation. Again, I am talking about the price increase of the ACADEMIC version of the XXL edition by a whopping $100. And once again, NO. I didn't know that the price of FL was going to increase. No warning was given from either IL or AcadSuperStore.

If you would have read my other posts, you would have known that I saved for almost a year to buy FL Studio. And I saved for 8 months to buy my E-MU 0404. What have you learned from this admission of mine? I hope it is this: "Money doesn't come easily to rbet." Now that I got $350 from somewhere, I thought of gifting FL to the kids.

And yeah, you're damn right I'll whine when I've been striving to achieve/obtain something, and everytime I lunge for it, it goes a bit farther away from me. I was saving for FL v4 when it was $99. Then it increased to $150. And, a few months ago, came to know of AcademicSuperStore. I bought my FL5 XXL from there for $130+$30. And now, when I go to enquire for a repeat purchase, I see a straight boost from $130 to $230. Maybe you are made of money, but not everyone else is.

Also, this is an internet forum, where everyone is entitled to their opinions as long as they're presenting themselves 'maturely'. Heck, many people even abuse that priviledge of theirs.
