thanks, i needed that. if you've got some tips on how to work out what you can see is wrong with the website.... I'd appreciate it. I've had some offers by people to host my work, but I can't do updates etc. if i don't have control of the space... meh, who cares.

Open ftp could be risky, can't you just place the files in folders and link to them like

I tried... didn't seem to work, even from my persocom, i will try yet again, when i'm not working, yet another edit- changed the font to arial black.... it's hosted at amfu.
I've got controls for the ftp usage, It's supposed to accessable but not alterable by others (anonymous), I'm a avid user of other ftp.. colleges etc. I don't know why they are so unpopular now.. back in the day, etc. (i'm off to work AGAIN!!!!)
