I'd love to see a dubbox that also does some bass pumping a la Basic Channel
Perhaps one with some Stereo/Mono mix controls.

About the only thing I'd _really_ like to see added to Dubb Box is LFO's to modulate Delay time and tone, or just two LFO's that can be routed to whatever..

just don't throw out yr old copy - see, I'm pretty sure I lost the DB source in the great hard drive fcukery of '05, so it's likely to be from the ground-up... thus less a twin sister than a close cousin

Now you've got me talking... in Feb of last year, I was working on the mother of all modular pseudo-analog dub-madness machines.. registered a domain name for it and all.. and then as usual i got distracted... and the rest is history
even have the original gui design here...
It was originally a prototype for a hardware box I'm building myself.
(note that i am in no way insinuating anything here.. it's just my bad luck)

if you want to create the pitch warble sound of an old tape machine, try MDA dubdelay with feedback set to 0 and mix set to full. then mess around with the delay time and lfo settings. you can also do this with pitch bend in sound forge or cubase's sample editor.

I did make an early beta, I'll have a look thru my backup disks to see if it still lives.with ring mod ... did you ever make a beta of it ?
From memory it needed some cpu optimisation, particularly when you started creating feedback loops thru the matrix.

If any of you are still watching this thread, and interested, feel free to try out DubbBox v2 Release Candidate 1.
I think it's pretty close to ready, but any comments welcome.
It's based on the original v1, as I lost the source files.
Some comments - it's still mono (I like it that way, and it saves on cpu.. however if I hear enough bitching I may well make a St version).
There's still no lfo modulation (I can do all that, with less of a cpu hit, in my host).
cheers,
sk

Thanks - just been previewing it, side by side with the original dubb box & the et-100.
The ability to select beat or ms values is nice, I also like the GUI & the inclusion of the reverb, switching that on & off yielded some nice results.
I'd like a stereo version, but tbh I like the sound as is anyway.
Not much more to say than that, i'll play with it some more.
Keep up the good work
