Just a quick heads-up to let everyone know that BigSeq is more or less done. We have to make the installers, and put up the store page and stuff, but it's just housecleaning at this point. The AU just got a clean bill of health from the various testers, so we're going to go retail with it tomorrow or Friday.

Woo hoo! Count me in for a purchase as soon as it's ready. AD Plugs are like Pokemon to me. Gotta collect em all! (Well, not all, but 7 or so)

they are very trustworthy, though, and guarantee a 30-days-no-questions-asked refund if you don't feel satisfied.kodama wrote:Their stuff looks nice, is XPlatform, and has good prices, but why demos?
I've never bought anything without a demo!
only downside is that you'll fall in love with most of the plugs once you got them...

Mayhem Suite and Ronin have demos, the rest don't.
As mentioned, they do offer the 30 days "no questions asked" refund as well.
These plugins are so cool, and so cheap, that's more than enough in my books.

chris
i have the ronin and i could never use it because i need to wrap it with vst-to-au but then the resulting wrapped plugin crashes au validation under logic 7.1.1 and if manually enabled crashes the host.
do you still think you will develop an au version of ronin or at least a wrappable logic "compatible" vst version, or will bigseq perhaps substitute ronin in your product line?
i really appreciate all audiodamage plugs!!!!!!

BigSeq is nothing like Ronin, really.
When we update Ronin for Universal Binary, we will fix the current problem with the wrapper. We will, at some point Real Soon Now, port Ronin to AU.

I just bought the 907 on the strength of AD's rep and one or two sound demos. Now that I know how good their stuff is I wouldn't hesitate to buy without a demo.Muff Wiggler wrote:most of their stuff has demos.
I do understand that AD newbies might hesitate without being able to try first.

I can understand if people won't buy stuff without a demo, it's all about one's comfort level.
Funny enough, I think a lot of AD's biggest fans are people who had to return something once. The process was so friendly and upfront, that AD builds a lot of good will through the process.
I don't know if anyone has noticed, but almost any time anyone asks a question like "what can this plugin do," I'll often put up a rough audio clip. I'm funny that way (also funny to see that it often baffles a lot of people).
So in that vein, I've put up several Audio Damage demo clips in several threads. In the case of AD stuff, I hope it'll give somebody who is nervous about the demoless transaction some useful extra info.
Other than the BigSeq demos in this thread, here are: I have a cool Ronin clip that I've never posted, not sure if I kept the file. I'll have to go hunting later. I also recently posted a clip comparing 7 or 8 phasers on the same loop. I can repost it, but you'd have to sit through an awful lot just to hear the PhaseTwo portion.
