Ok : i tried it : it is great.
It loads stereo files (even if shown as mono in the viewer), takes nearly no cpu... yipeee !
(But it doesn't "auto-stretch" a loop if required, the only thing i could have wished... I have to do it manually with pitching the sound...)
Very nice stuff.

Yeah that's why I made it..it also shits me that FL Slicer is not multichannel and ca't repitch individual hits (well it can, but only thru the PR)...

yes, that is to keep cpu usage to a minimum (I think accurate timing is paramount with a slicer)

No it doesn't.. I have to look in to that sometime.
If I do implement it, it will probably be just
- set desired # of beats
- sample is pitched up/down to fit into this, at the current bpm

ie, I doubt I will implement granular repitching (as in original Wavehack), as there's a decent cpu-hit involved, and also latency.

I figure you can stick a pitch-shifter over the output (particuarly if it had 12 stereo outputs, one for each slice) if you need to pitch back up..?

That would great great, and just enough : it is not time for very accurate production, more for beat-slicing and mangling !
Never mind if it is a bit too high-pitched !

Okay, here's v1.1 with basic fit-to-tempo (was a lot easier to do to do than I thought, did it while eating breakfast

)

Select number of 1/4 notes via top-left dropdown (or --- for no stretching), and can multiply that by 4 with X4 button for longer loops.
Stretches the *entire* loop, not individual slices. I may add individual slice stretching in the future.

(you now click on the loaded filename to load a new sample. had to steal realestate from the Load button!)

Direct Download until I update the doco and installer. *Not* preset-compatible with v1.0, as there's extra settings to save, so different dll filename.

This works great in eXT, except that sample start parameter actually affects sample end, and vice versa. At least on the two notes I tried, i didn't feel like checking every one.
