Thanks man, I'll be watching for this release and probably purchasing it.Jeremy_NSL wrote:So not multisampled either... Sloppy. And typical of eBay samples 'deals'. *coughs* its not jp8080, but if you are looking for fat supersaws, and jp8080-esque stuff, might I suggest my own soon-to-be-released Viral Outbreak?
Multisampled, perfectly looped - I'm a perfectionist

Like I said earlier - VSampler will open that soundfont and loop all those samples to an acceptable standard (with possibly a few misses) using a batch command, and probably within 1/2 hour. Check it out, it is the only tool for Soundfonts IMO.

1-2-Many, is VSampler doing that on other samples as well (I'd guess it will...)? And, even more important, when you export a sampleset, will the looppoints be embedded, at least in the soundfont version?
I'm still looking for something with batch loop point settings...

It all depends on the sort of material you're dealing with.markdeaton wrote:Batch loop point settings? Yikes. I would think each sample needs extremely intricate attention for looping?
Sometimes, when being lazy, or when dealing with "synth-ish" material that wouldn't justify the effort anyways, I just remember my start and end points and apply a 100% x-fade to the samples in WaveLabs loop x-fade editor.
Yeah, defenitely not the purists approach at all, but it's been working quite well on a lot of patches I made. And I've not been running into phasing issues yet either. Of course, you won't do that to a naturally sounding violin.
