Sorry, I'm bailing out. We were working on making a shoutcast streaming plugin, but ran into too many technical problems with libshout along the way.

This is Tom from Destroy FX.
I just found out about the contest (been out of commission for months) but I'm thinking about entering. I write fast. Question: Is it okay to finish and polish a previously unreleased plugin? Or is this supposed to be from scratch within the three month period?

yeah.. i was sorta curious about that too.. the idea i want to finish up i thought up a long while ago, and started some reasearch code.. but now i think i can actually tie it all together in time..

as long as it's previously unreleased, i don't see any problem why it shouldn't be a part of this contest. i'm adding you to the list Tom.
