9 * 1024 = 9216 megs / 350 (the number of megs i've recieved this hour) = 26.33
actually there is 9140 megs though, so it's just under 9 gig by a hair. glad i dont have to pay image-line's bandwidth bill this month
also some help for others:
i've noticed the file is downloading to:
the file (in this case amped) is named:c:\documents and settings\rchristy\local settings\temp
though i've configured directwave library path to m:\[directwave], and expect the downloader to move the files there when it's done, there is an ini file that relates to the fldownloader located here:Amped (Bulk Samples).flinstaller
this file is hidden so you may have to show all files to see it. anyway this file contains a few variables at the top:C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio 6\System\Tools\FLInstaller\Downloads\directwave.txt
which looks to me like the final download destination of where these files get saved to after they are completed and copied/moved from the temporary directory. i had downloaded some samples prior to this and there was a folder for the sample pack in this directory already, so i'm guessing the directwave library path is not the same as the fldownload manager save path.;Options
$FileExt=.dwp
$RootPath=Data\Patches\Packs\Samplefusion\
$FilePath=Data\Patches\Packs\Samplefusion\
is there some way to change this besides editing the file above? it's relative directory so i'm nervous to change it myself to an absolute path like m:\[directwave] ...
anyway that may help some people. obviously you need the free space to download this stuff successfully, so free up about 10 gig if you have to or download one at a time and burn them off as you go ... haven't finished any downloads yet, 70% on amped will post back when it finishes with what i find.
