You could step things up and have the slide show with your music as the soundtrack.deaf dunderkwac wrote:I am absolutely the worst host I know.
Always forgetting to offer up drink or food and making everyone take of their shoes before I'll allow them into the house. AND THEN I use to play my boring slide shows whether or not anyone was interested but nowadays I force them to listen to my latest *musical* creations (boring, either way)...
I'm such a drag...
Say some bad things about your host!

The worst host i've known was a friend of mine. He'd invite us for this great LAN party, ok? He said it was totally free, which was cool and all. I didnt expect it to be free, but its cool anyways. He'd invite us and he'd starve us to DEATH. We asked for water, and he said "There's plenty when you go home". He locked us(me+friends) in a room and ate pizza in front of us, without offering us ofcourse. He looked ugly as hell too, as if he was like 50 years older than he should be or something. I mean, his face was wrinkled, and he looked like he was from the past!
I'm like okay, fine, if you're not going to change a small little thing for the sake of us good friends, suit yourself. I dont see you going anywhere.
Then, he didnt play nice, and we werent friends anymoh.

FLStudio.... missing an option to see midi files in the timeline - apart from that still not used to every aspect of the program but getting there
Pro Tools.... No offlinerendering ???? WTF
Tracktion.... it's cumbersome sometimes.... (for example compare the usage of BFD in FL & T.... worlds of different) just sometimes though
eXT.... still don't get it - I want a tutorial video with this Dye guy
Logic 5.51...... gave it away....

Sonar - needs certain features from Project5 (like the Groovematrix, Effects chains, MIDI Learn and automation etc).

My host, well, he just doesn't have enough blood...

FL Studio
- Little preview of the pattern as it appears in the playlist
- Drag and drop in alot of places (Step Sequencer Channels, Mixer tracks, Mixer inserts, Playlist patterns).
- Auto-Metronome-on-Recording like in Sonar
Sonar (don't actually own it myself but dad does so I get to use it frequently)
- Multiple MIDI-Out tracks
- Smaller vertical dimension of mixer fader
- No Audio Engine reset on dropout
- In general, be a little more flexible in what you can do while playing (in FL you can do just as much playing as not playing).
