Thanks for this constructive review however I need to clarify (or justify)why the plug is what it is, so I'll try take point after point (hope you won't find me aggressive and unpleasant
)1- yes it's mono, because of the CPU use that may exists if I double the plugin structure (I/O and modules such as Eq bands)
2- Values of parameters on compressor have been "stuck" for my personal use.It's not intended to be the "perfect comp" but something that quickly give results when making Electro/House drumloops
3-yes Vu meter doesn't work, and it's still in developement, as I told in my first post, I need some more time to design it.
4 & 5 -I understand that and I'll try to resolve knobs problems asap
6,7,8,9 - This is not the purpose of this plugin, however I plan to build a serious limiter.
Usualy I use other tools for sidechain and limiting (currently peak detection with an EQ/gain control and I think, this was the thing you're searching for)but it will not appear in this plugin.
10-The FXP are not selectable through the plugin menu, you have to select them with your host, but I don't know how XT or logic work..I'll try to put them in the plugin menu asap.
For the rest, here is a short explanation: I make sounds mostly by tweaking knobs not much by looking @ parameters values, I may be wrong but for me it's the sound that count and my eye will never tell me what is good to my ears.
That's the way I choosed EQ's frequencies and comp parameters default values : nothing has been set to be crystal clear or neutral, it's matter of taste (mine i should say).
Some may find a use for it, some may not.
Anyway you have reached some good points and I'll improve the plugin when I can, to give other people something with more "open" options.
I realize that this plugin is more like my own preset box to achieve what I'm after.
