I wonder what will be the next buzzword must have feature in FL studio. First its PDC, then multi threading, now sidechaining. I am gonna start a thread bitching about how one ping only must be included in FL or I wont be able to get any music done. :P :hihi:

audio routing is one thing. i'm ok with it. MIDI routing, now there is something else. it is what has made me switch almost entirely to Energy XT. I can get the same pattern based sequencing as FL, plus track loop like in Muse or Cubase, plus purely linear, all in one song, but also have the power of fully modular audio and MIDI.
I still crack open FL on occasion though. It is really good at what it is good at, if you know what i mean.
resistors are futile you will be simulated

PS:
i would pro'lly open flstudio a lot more if one could use any VST or DX plugin as an 'internal controller'. That would be fruity nirvana.
but hey, that's just me.

Well, just FYI, I found a tutorial video on teh intarwebnet showing how to perform true stereo sidechaining in FL Studio with the waves C1 compressor. It is 130-odd MB and 11 mins long.

Sidechaining in FL is also discussed right here on KvR.

So that settles it abt the sidechaining.:D
