You could use the F for the flam and M for mute since these keys AFAIK isn't in use. Or?

I could do that, but it would make handling the keys a bit more difficult. Since Ctrl/Shift/Alt status is always mentioned in combination with every keystroke the application captures - and it's more natural for users to press a Ctrl-A combination than doing a two-handed F-A combination.. but I'll simply have to consider something like that for the next gen lunchbox!jobromedia wrote:You could use the F for the flam and M for mute since these keys AFAIK isn't in use. So here is some news about the LB kitmaker:
* Loads wav files and copy their filenames.
* Automatic playback of each wav while loading it.
* Preview of each slot corsponding to Lunchbox.
* Copy the created kit into the sounds directory
* Can create subdirectory for the samples.
* Compress the kit into a zip file for easy internet share.
* When a kit is loaded it checks the samples against the sounds folder and the kit's folder to see if they exists there. If not then that text field is colored slightly red.

Thanks!!
All the feature requests are on the list. I'm not sure if I can implement them all, but I'll give it a try!
Last night I got ASIO working with Lunchbox. Got my crappy laptop with ASIO4ALL down to a 1.4ms latency! That's as realtime as it will get, I think

Thanks, I'm working on it!smart wrote:Bram, looking foward to any plans you may have for LunchBox Battles!
btw, will LBB work as a "studio on a stick" like Tunafish? It's a perfect software for such a thing since it's so small and light.
It should already run completely standalone from a stick as it is, and I will keep it that way for sure!

Oh cool, I haven't tried it, but I think it's a great feature and something i'm thinking about. If I had an idea for something I could bang it out at work, then load it into my sequencer at home when I have time to really work on something.brambos wrote:Thanks, I'm working on it!smart wrote:Bram, looking foward to any plans you may have for LunchBox Battles!

btw, an idea for a companion to LBB could be to make a version with 3 more pads, each with a note (C, C#, D, etc) which would make enough pads for a whole octave. People could trade sets of samples for different sounds just like the drum sounds in LBB, but this time bass sounds, and you would have a 1 octave bassline machine you tap out LBB style!
