Thanks for the bump!

The second one is musically the same, but is not divided into single tracks and has somewhat better audio quality:

Never mind my bandwidth, I've got a good provider :D

Tarot has many interesting aspects - and since I'm a psychologist, the symbolical or archetypical one is very fascinating to me.

All the best,
Andreas

Had a listen to Arkana, and I enjoyed it. Not what I'd expected. (I'd considered doing a series of pieces based on tarot cards but never got anywhere. Still, the impressions and ideas from that failed project shaped my expectations.)

Interesting rhythmic textures and shifting patterns. Definitely ought to be listened to all in series. The inside bits are nice, but it's the distorted guitar sound from "The Fool" that engaged my imagination most, got my cerebral visualization engine working. Fun stuff, yet thoughtful. Thank you for making it available.

Hey, I'm glad Meffy bumped it 'cause it's surely worth the download.
This is an excellent work, very imaginative

Funny ... someone (or several persons) seems to have downloaded "The Tower" 194  times this month. Strange. (next-famous part is "The Fool" with 12 downloads this month) This is not necessarily the part I adore most, but well, I hope you enjoyed it.
Ah: there are other parts worth listening as well  (try "Strength", try "Strength"...)
Cheers,
Andreas

Tiny update here, the complete version with all parts in one file is now available at 320 kbit/s resolution:

http://www.andreaskrebs.de/assets/media/arkana-all.mp3

The older one (160kbit/s if I remember correctly) is now renamed to arkana-all-old.mp3, just in case the 112 MB file is too big to download.

Kind regards,
Andreas

Absolutely BRILLIANT man!!

Completely missed this somehow - tagged for when I have time!
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

Post

Downloaded this - as it sounds intriguing, will have a listen later when in a more conducive frame of mind.

Whoa, thanks for the bump! And thanks for your kind feedback!

Cheers,
Andreas
