Another demo for this setup.... not particularly brilliant playing-wise, but hopefully will demonstrate the tone of this configuration that Shane got together.

This was basically two of Shane's setup loaded into XT2 channels as insert effects. Two tracks of guitar, Addictive Drums just providing a simple loop.

This is awesome guitar rig! And sounds Pro ;)
Thanks Shane! :)

@Amberience
How did you get them to work as a XT2 channels insert effects? Did you export them as channel presets?

Ohh Great Riff!

Nah mate. I simply loaded instances of EnergyXT 1.4 vst effect, I would wager that's the way Shane intended it to be used.

Loaded one of those into an insert slot, loaded Shane's file, and bobs your bruncle, instant riffage!

Hey Dimi! I have an Ibanez SA260FML - with a Bareknuckle Nailbomb pickup at the bridge:

Only got the one guitar mind you. But the Nailbomb is very versatile, cleans up really nicely, but also amazing to play for high gain and bluesy crunch tones.

Sounds great, I do love this doomy guitars... do you know the free juicy77 amp sim? http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2010.html

It has a little more gain reserve than JCM900 and Fender Twin (i love that SimAnalog plugs, however)

short mp3 recorded in Ext2 :)
Very full and beefy!!

I'm not even nearly as good with that kind of pinch harmonic stuff, but your example shows that pinch harmonics can sound really good with software plugins!! (seems to be a fallacy spready by guitarists that you need analog gear to get the kind of sounds you're getting)

Wow really cool guitar !!! Congratulations!
How is Nailbomb humbucker compared to the Dimarzio's?
I have Paf pro's and Evo's on that mp3

Haven't tried Dimarzio's to be honest, but Bareknuckle handwind their pickups, it's a smallish British company, and I'm not patriotic at all really, but the fact they're British made me more sympathetic to buying one from them. They retail about £120, but I got mine from ebay for £75 - wh00t! :)
