I must admit when I became buyer number 1 on this group buy and it barely moved the first few days I was thinking "i'm really not going to make much of a saving here am I" lol.
Thankfully I was very wrong!. Half Price now, woot! \o/

You will choose if you need to receive a dongle or not in the finalization process of the group buy, i.e. in a very few hours !Hannes_F wrote:I joined the group buy making it 161. But I could not see a "need dongle" checkbox - or did I miss something?

Congrats on such a successful gb, Fabrice!
And congrats to all of you guys who are getting this for such a steal!! This is the only non-dsp card software eq worth anything, imho. My favorite eq by a long shot.

As I previously said : it is the first and the last group buy for AirEQ !smart wrote:I *really* want AirEQ but it's out of my budget now. Any chance of another group buy ever again?

What about Algorithmix? PLParEQ? URS?JeffSanders wrote:This is the only non-dsp card software eq worth anything, imho. My favorite eq by a long shot.
Don't get me wrong, I just bought the AirEQ, but it's not like it's the only good non-DSP EQ, although in some aspects it's even better than some DSP ones.

That's good for you, it's important not to lower the value of your product. But I figured I'd ask anywayEliosound wrote:As I previously said : it is the first and the last group buy for AirEQ !smart wrote:I *really* want AirEQ but it's out of my budget now. What about them? I did say "imho" and personally, those eq's don't do it for me like the AirEq. I'm not saying they are lesser quality sound, the AirEq just fits my workflow better, smokes them cpu-wise and sounds as good or better.akisd28 wrote:What about Algorithmix? PLParEQ? Hi Fabrice, i'd say this groupbuy wouldn't have worked that well if your product wouldn't speak for itself. It seems the golden rule for any product has proven again: Only quality survives and sells.
Another very positive thing about Eliosound and you is that you are reachable to consumers, like posting in forums like KVR which gives a character about your product rather than a dead website without knowing anyone behind it. I'm positive that this was the reason for some people to join the groupbuy.
I wish all the 'big companies' out there would take this an example of how they should be: Quality Products - Friendly and helpful support - Open to suggestions - and a name you know you can talk to if there's any problem.
Excellent.

I agree, Jeff; if you think AirEQ is the best software-EQ, then it is!
But have you actually tried that Algorithmix EQ? It's absolutely amazing - so clean it makes Little House on the Prarie look like a porno.
But AirEQ is still my favourite, of course.

I was #2 I think. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride . . .
Great eq. I like having a lot of eq's and compressors, not sure whether it's my imagination or if variety adds something to overall quality of the mix. In-the-box the plugins I actually use are URS A & N, UAD 1073, the PSP master one, the elemental audio ones, some voxengos, outboard I use 1081's and a 737, and the aireq is a very welcome addition. Thanks for the great deal!
