I want to answer personally about samples or not samples inside.
DirectGuitar Lite sfz format contains the samples. There is also an EXS24 version and it also contains the samples.
So matthewjumps you can download it.

Thought I'd let you know. I downloaded the lite version for K2 & am impressed with the samples. Even with only three layers, I was able to get some decent results via velocity. I'm working on a tune where DG Lite is one of three guitar samples used (I'm also using a Sonic Capsules Strat 3D & a Jazz Guitar that I downloaded from somewhere). This piece is not ready for public consumption so I'll hold off on uploading it, but I wanted to say I like the lib & will be placing an order very soon.

Nice work. Can't wait the get my hands on the full version.

I'm currently running it through FreeAmp. You can't beat free & it adds a little grit to the sound & is highly customizable to boot.

Just ordered the full lib. Waiting anxiously by the mailbox.
