If someone could just rename these samples to include note names (and velocities, if applicable). Then I could map them for wusikstation. Right now I don't really have to see what note cello 01.wav is.

I would be also interested - but K2 crashes when I try o import the few things I downloaded back then .... perhaps somebody can make the exs/nki available again ..... that should not be to big or send me as email ....

manymapper automap function analyses the file name. So if the filename contains the note name and some info about velocity it will basically do all the work for you (apart from some minor tweaking).
It's very flexible about the naming conventions.
I suggest you try the manual it comes it, it's very well written and explains exactly how it goes about it's business
