good luck mod! nice to see you coding again. as far as feature requests go, i'm not going to back the guys in this thread putting every possible feature into one plugin - i'm sure you can't be arsed doing that either! feel comfortable putting in the features you think it should have based on those proposed. i'm sure you'll have a nice twist on it anyway

But look! The facking waveform's non-linear! There's nothing in Steinberg's SDK to handle that shit!meeks wrote:

Much much thanks folks!
Keep throwing stuff in the pot if you'd like! Having a large base of ideas is great.. even if ideas conflict... that's ok too.
@Haydxn, yes! yes! back into juce!

It loads wavs now.. and it's got a nice mousewheel zoom.

Yeah, +1thisdude wrote:something i've always wanted:
how about using that midi timing info and allowing the user to jam on a single note, each time triggering the next slice in the phrase (serial)?
as far as i know, there's nothing like this out there and it would be sh#thot.
(i even started to program a midi plugin to have this, but failed...i'm a terrible programmer)
Some more thoughts: Don't overload it with effects! Fx on slices only make sense if some envelope on the FX is trigerred by the slice. Reverb, delay is not necessary, there are (hopfully) several outputs to manages this. But make the slice detection engine the best you can get.

Drag and drop a single slice from the slicer to another application is a must for me. I'd love to see it implemented. It would be great if one could choose to drag either the processed, rendered slice or the dry slice.brok landers wrote:

07. rendering indifidual slices with envelopes (amp, filter?)and fx (if it has any), selectable.
Very interesting project, ModulR!

@PTV - Actually ModuLR first released the slicer example which i think is based on pseudograins which had various mod versions released on the forum and was later used to create Loopdrive (I think anyway i have seen the source of that slicer and they look very similar but loopdrive is a alot more updated), the original post -

++1 on another slicer, can never have enough.
ONE suggestion: have it be able to slice Live Incoming Audio by detecting its peaks and then midi rearranged. Obviously with a 1-4 bar delay! I know it can't be a time machine.
