Same here. With my C-Port ASIO drivers it dont work. It works fine with ASIO4All.

Nice GUI, BTW. Has been it done by GrimmyJack?

Post

yep, great stuff

works fine with my m-audio drivers or asio4all.

Post

I have been playing with it, and really nice!

About plugins, appear they run nice! BUT, I noted that plugins without a GUI are not supported.(Ariesverb, FS series, etc)

.
An Screenshot of it running at home:

@marce,

true - if you read the manual,
you would know that this is mentioned there.

Thanks! I supposed that since it dont crashed or anything, only gave a message "plugin not supported". I suppose that can be solved with a wrapper.

Thank you all for providing the bugs about ASIO and VST, we'll try to fix them in the next beta.
BTW: What is Synth 1?

no. not entirely i worked on it with him early, but he grew impatient (and i don't blame him for it) and found someone else to finish the project for him. i did the logo, root window, color palette, splash screen (if he used it i dont know), and audio i/o patchbay only.

Post

Problem with Oatmeal is similar to KarmaFx synth.Maze is not resizing ui window properly. It would be nice that we can use modular synth in modular host.Maybe scrollbars could be added cause Karma has really big UI and looks like Maze doesn't have enough space for it.KarmaFx here:http://www.karmafx.dk/

Art Evans wrote:If in the mixer you set up an aux send to go to a VST effect, then route the output of that effect back to another channel on the mixer (using it as a return) the send is muted which rather defeats the object of using the aux send. This can be checked by using a VST with its own metering.
This bug is fixed :) About the keyboard bug, in what condition does it crash ?

Post

Thanks for that fix - I'll try it again. The crash when using the keyboard was simply when just playing a few notes. I'll try to retest in the next few days and note the conditions more carefully.

Post

(The fix does not appear in the current download, it seems).

Actually that's something I think that's worth mentioning. I like this application and naturally I want to see it developed more and to see the bugs "squashed", so maybe when you do fix a certain aspect of the program could you maybe upload the new version and let us know about it? I know you have a forum over there and maybe I'll join up in the future but it's kind of hard to negotiate at the moment. Thanks. :)
