Yes, you must get the funk!Lunch Money wrote:D'oh! Been side-tracked. Let me add the funk tomorrow. Gotta get funky. Watto: If I'm the Greg you're referring to, I gotta say.. my bass skills are sub-par.
BTW it's ok (hint) by me if you cut out the really sloppy parts. That might leave a note or two you can use.tomg wrote:Sure.jakob wrote: tomg, thanks for yours! sounds sweet! can you upload your recording only (nothing else), please?

I was referring to Gregjazz, actuallyLunch Money wrote:Watto: If I'm the Greg you're referring to, I gotta say.. my bass skills are sub-par.
I had a problem with the base loop and perhaps is related. This base is not trimmed to start on the beat and I had to manually allocate this start point to play along with the metronome. Probably that's why my solo plays out of beat in your mix. This is a capture I've made of the reallocation. Hope it helps:jakob wrote:As for your solo: sorry, I guess my rhythmical hearing isn't good enough to find out which beat goes where. How many beats is it late (a quarter note?)?

Argh! I've run out of time. If you're still mixing on Thursday, I'll upload and pm you; otherwise, whatever you choose to do is fineWatto wrote:I'm about to upload an mp3 of my mix, to show you where the parts should be, jakob
