Snap / quantize bug?

like i said, 1.4 doesn't do this, so i have no idea what the problem is there.

and the issue jens mentioned is indeed very annoying. parts don't snap to their original position. notes do, but parts don't.

Unfortunately 1.4 has similar (same?) bug jens observed in XT2.

you're right. what happens in 1.4 is similar, but not exactly the same. the problem there only happens when you enlarge a part by dragging the left edge out to the left. after you do that, notes will snap and quantize to the wrong position.

to fix such messed-up parts in 1.4: close the editor, glue a blank midi part to the affected part, and open the editor again. gluing seems to reset the snap offset.

Thanks a lot. Now 1.4 is my noless then ideal sequencer.
