I like it. It's got an Ummagumma vibe to it, and I like how I can tweak it.
A mono mode would be nice, on my 2.6ghz 1536mb computer it can be a little much on the 1st patch, but simple melodies do well on any setting.

liqih: Here is the preset. I did use 44,100hz. The harmonics possibilities are so huge it's almost funny
. As you can see, the FM part plays a very major role in the finalization of the sound. Of course, the different ADSR values and volume of each of the 4 parts are very important. In the sample I posted, I did some changing of the ModiNote parameter in real time.
I'll have to do some more stuff with it later. I really love synths like this, with a different synthesis approach, thanks.

Here is another demo of another patch, and here is the patch.
However,
liqih: I just noticed that the txt preset files are either not saved or not loaded correctly. Too bad that I can't save fxp files since I used Cubase 4 to make the patches. Anyway, you can get a .vstpreset file of the "Tar" patch here and of the "Evil Pluck" patch here.

Thanks, yeah it is kinda short
. Yes, all except the percussion (which is from DKS Pro) is from that single patch.
Cubase 4 does support importing .fxp/.fxb, but only supports saving to .vstpreset unfortunately. A tool to convert between the formats would definitely be useful.
As for MPC, encoder/decoder, various related software and info are on the official site (Musepack.net)

Hey all,
Just to keep this thread alive, a bump. It looks like the skin I have sent Liqih is a little dark, same as another graphics project from my laptop. I'll send him a lighter version, sure. I think he is busy at the moment, but maybe he can find time to skin it. Thanks again to Liqih for what surely is a singular synth.
Wishing you all satisfying music, nix
P.S- Thanks for the comments, just very simple, but hopefully easy on the eye.

That graphic looks too nice, I like the junky one better. This synth is always fun.
