I promised myself that I would never get an iLok. Well that shit's just gone out the window. I need this plugin so bad, it looks really, really badass. It'll cost me half as much as my sequencer? So f**king what, there's nothing like it on thr market

I would actually shell out for this were it not for Pace iLok. There's nothing else like it on the market...yet. There will be competition someday, I'd guess.
We just need some enterprising someone to make some cool IRs like this.

Frell me, my jaw was on the floor with this thing already - and then he showed you how to *play* the samples. Amazing value for the price, IMHO. Dammit, now if I just *had* the money.

and because I'm up, and depressed.........I want it
See, this is something that really appeals to me. A way to get odd background stuff and instant "good" lo-fi.
The all in one package is sick and they are TOO smart for their own good............they KNEW we'd all clamor over it............
best price I've seen so far is sweetwater

iZotope vinyl is quite nice for many things, but Speakerphone does a bit more (and it BETTER, for that price
I ain't happy about the price, but....wow. just watch the movie. Still it ain't for everyone and I'm not rushing out to buy it tomorrow, but it definitely has me thinking 'bout the iLOk darkside

i dont think the ilok is unstable really. i can understand why it's there and i'm careful not to break mine, also have to remember to have it plugged in or else you get confused as to why it's crashingblortblort wrote: Still it ain't for everyone and I'm not rushing out to buy it tomorrow, but it definitely has me thinking 'bout the iLOk darksidenothing ever has before this one. bastards

if people are mad cause of something to do with license registration well it was easy when i did Gypsy but confusing when i did it with Waves. so i can understand why there'd be people resisting it. but when you see stuff like Speakerphone... who cares it has a dongle?

The two big issues I've had with iloks are:
a. There are instances where the port won't accept the ilok/ilok not found. It's always solvable by deleting every single instance of pace/ilok/etc from your registry and so on.......but what a pain!!!!!!!!!
b. Waves. Though, I did finally get one to work (GTR3) but that was pc, not intelmac where I really had the most problems demoing.

Just to be clear, you can choose between C/R and iLok for the copy protection.
