Yep. Noisy as hell here. The acoustic emulation is quite good, though. I think Watto hit the problem.

The hiss is unbelievable but I think it sounds very much like an acoustic, I really like it. Get rid of that noise though.

OOH OOH OOH!!!
How might it sound if I plugged in an electric banjo? I'll probably have to get back to you on that.

I think it sounds great and very useable - I guess the hiss is due to some kind of strong compression which is going on and which works too much on the very high frequencies... a simple high-shelf might already help...

Right, it will get easier once they can play through the VST.Watto wrote: I think part of the problem is the playing style - sounds lovely, but you couldn't bend that easily on an acoustic, surely? You should ask your beta testers to play with acoustic limitations in mind.

Hello,
I would like to try it aswell.
I have a strat with single coil at the bridge position.
About the hiss, I wonder if it's just normal, since the 5th position (using bridge pickup only) is known for the hiss issues in single coiled guitars, so after the vst insert it just gets amplified. (I personally never use the 5th position, and maybe I could confuse the hiss issue with the vst itself)
Just a thought...

Rene said the pickup was a humbucker.genealex wrote:About the hiss, I wonder if it's just normal, since the 5th position (using bridge pickup only) is known for the hiss issues in single coiled guitars, so after the vst insert it just gets amplified. Yes, that would be great.Spiggy wrote:Hi Midiworks,
Listened to the demo for your plug and think it sounds great! Got some nice guitars and a good preamp - if your still looking for beta testers I can upload you some tones tomorrow?
All the best,
Spiggy
Your PM is turned off !
Thanks
Rene
