I find the low end boost particularly nice on the EQs; possibly one of the best I've heard: warm and big, but not honky. Really sits the bass nicely in a mix.

I tried the compressors and I have to say I'm confused.
I couldn't find any information about the ranges of the controls, like attack. Also, what is delay? Do you mean release time? "Thesh" probably refers to threshold. It seems that bigger attack = smaller attack time. The classic way is to control the attack time, not speed. 1176 is a famous exception.
Anyway, if I see a new compressor, I want to know how the controls relate to other compressors I've used.
The ratio control was even more confusing. The decibel scale refers to ratios in itself, and for example 3dB means about 2:1. In your program you can choose even 16dB ratio, which would correspond to about 40:1. I guess it's ok to use dBs but that's not the standard.
I hope this is more of help than irritation.

I can see how things might seem confusing. let me clarify.
The - & + mean what they say.
- = less attack.
- = less delay.
- = lower threshold.
- = lower make-up gain.
Delay = release. I named it based on what a compressor is actually doing. I'm used to thinking at a component level. (The delay time it takes to get back to normal.)
& yes you found a gui bug!
The ratio buttons are incorrectly labeled with db. they should be 2:1 4:1 8:1 16:1.
Will fix them now..
Thanks

Update:
More legible/comprehensible compressor gui titles. (no more vodka + gui creation)

Also this manual applies to FFC-1 & FBC-1 for those that have functionality questions.

I'm in the process of writing up manuals for this modular series.

Question for all..
What sounds more exciting
1. Soft knee compressor
or
2. Leveling amplifier
?
Hint hint.
